Descheo Island beckons all nature lovers. This wildlife preserve has been left to follow its own natural course and is populated by unusual coral formation, reel fish, and pelagic. Great spot for diving as it offers many spectacular underwater views of marine life.

Mona Island :The underwater terrain is spectacular with its arches, crevices, and tunnels. Above ground is just as amazing. The dry cacti terrain is highlighted by a few white-sand beaches where large iguanas roam freely as red-footed boobies and white-tailed tropic birds soar above them. Diving can be done by the experienced.

Monito Island has no beaches. Large schools of pelagic and other tropical fish can be seen in summer months while humpback whales can be viewed during the winter.

Rincon has a number of beaches the enjoyment of its visitors, but Corsega Beach is the nicest for swimming and sunbathing. Snorkeling, sailing, and jet skiing are also available. Anyone wanting to surf might want to try Dome’s Beach and Maria’s Beach. People come from around the world to experience the awesome waves. There is too much coral at Steps Beach for swimming, but it makes for a great snorkeling spot.

Bioluminscent Bay

About 1.5 hours south of Rincon, in the town of La Parguera. The bioluminiscence is observed at night in the calm waters, caused by high concentrations of one-celled organisms known as dinoflagellates. The result is a spectacular, glowing display every time you move in the water. The best time to go is during a "new" moon when there is not too much light.

Tennis Courts/Free Gym:  Less than 8 minutes are  public tennis courts, and a gym.  It's easy to find.  It's inside the only stadium in Rincon off Rt 115.  Walls are lined with newspaper pictures of bulky body builders and curvy ladies.  Hours are 6 am to 8 pm on weekdays.   It's free.
Check out the tennis courts and the track.
